Down the Rabbit Hole

Mar 17, 2016

>>  The instant the words Manchester Museum crossed their lips I knew I had to photograph Gemma and Rory's wedding. Boy did it live up to expectations!

As soon as I walked through the door I fell head over heels in love with the venue.  To start with Gemma and Rory's ceremony took place directly underneath Stan the colossal T Rex Skeleton.  As if this wasn't enough I then ventured upstairs  (through the Egyptology exhibition) into the most jaw droppingly awesome wedding breakfast ever.  The Alice in Wonderland inspired favours and awesome museum display cases made me feel like I had indeed fallen down the rabbit hole and ended up in wonderland.

Gemma killed it with her Lou Lou wedding dress and the girls looked stunning in navy blue and the boys rocked their dapper suits.

Every detail was immaculate with wild flowers from Simply Flowers and the scrummiest looking naked cake from The Polka Dot Bakery

Manchester's first jazz manouche non-purists, Gypsies of Bohemia put their own unique spin on hits by Mumford and Sons, Blondie, Girls Aloud and even Iron Maiden! Naturally, That Photo Booth Company provided the photo booth which Gemma adorned with 60 hand made pom poms. So much to swoon over it left me feeling a wee bit dizzy! <<
