Trudy and Badger // The Hundred House Hotel Wedding, Shropshire

It's incredibly flattering (and incredibly nerve-wracking), to be asked to photograph another photographer's wedding.  When Trudy, who specialises in gorgeous, whimsical, newborn photography, got in touch about her Hundred House wedding I was stoked.  I grew up just down the road from The Hundred House Hotel, so I'd been past this beautiful red brick country pub a million times.  Little did I know of the gems that were inside the grounds.  The beautiful tithe barn has been converted into a purpose-built wedding venue and the gardens are wild and wonderful, reminding me of my childhood favourite, the secret garden.  Couple this with the best in house wedding coordinators I've met and the stage was set for an awesome day.

Trudy and Badger met at The Custard Factory in Birmingham before getting together in Ibiza.  Even though the wedding was a family affair, full of lots of thoughtful touches for the kids, they gave a little nod to their early rave days by dishing out glow sticks and ensuring there were plenty of chooons in the playlist.

It was a true family affair with Badger's sister making the bouquet, his Nan making the flower girl dresses and Trudy's friend doing her hair.  Here's a little glimpse at their lovely day...
