Emma and Ned // The Craven Arms, Appletreewick, Yorkshire

It may have been silin o'a t' dales, but Emma and Ned’s wedding at the Craven Arms pub, in Appletreewick, was so full of loveliness that the rain didn't make a jot of difference.

Emma and Ned chose to have a humanist ceremony in the charming cruck barn. The ceremony was beautifully put together by their celebrant, Celia, who told the story of Emma and Ned’s first date, and how their romance blossomed through Ned’s expert handling of Emma’s camping trip hanger! Their wedding rings were passed around the guests, so that they could be warmed with good thoughts and love whilst Emma and Ned read their vows to one another.

As you'd expect in a pub the ceremony was followed by a right good knees up - there was even a surprise appearance of a chimney sweep and some spooky ley line electromagnetic goings on… see if you can spot it in the photos below!
