Wedding at The Courtyard Venue, Oswestry

Oct 10, 2022

How stunning is this Courtyard Venue wedding?  Katie and Ben chose The Courtyard Venue in Oswestry for its simple, natural and relaxed feel.  "The renovated barns are rustic, but with their white washed walls, they feel unlike other traditional barn wedding venues. It has Mediterranean / Italian vibes (in Oswestry!) which we thought was unique for an English barn wedding."

When Katie and Ben spoke to me about their wedding day they said the most important parts were the ceremony and for everyone to have fun.  "We feel it is important for the guests (and us) to feel relaxed and have a good time! It is also important for us to have pockets of time when we can hopefully talk to each other and enjoy the day together."

Portraits are such a great way to carve out time to spend with just the two of you.  The Courtyard has plenty of great photos spots so you can disappear off for ten minutes, take a breath and soak it all in.

Katie's choice of hot pink flowers added a pop of colour and the flower arch crafted by Pheasant Botanica was OUT OF THIS WORLD GORGEOUS. Both me at Steve from Blue Ridge Films did a little happy dance when we first saw Katie's dress - those sleeves!

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to shoot here again, so if you've booked your wedding at The Courtyard Venue, please do get in touch and let's chat. If you're thinking of getting married in Shropshire but have yet to find your dream venue take a look at Shropshire Wedding Venues for more inspiration

'Cause you're a sky, 'cause you're a sky full of starsI'm gonna give you my heart
